SOLD-THE-PASTURE sale starting June 2007!!!
Idaho Gaited Mules is located outside of Boise, Idaho, and specializes in riding animals
that are bred for traveling distances quickly and smoothly.
Thanks
for visiting this website. It has evolved from an effort begun a few years ago
to raise a few truly first class gaited mules for personal use. It has become apparent that owning these sweethearts can be very addictive, so beware!
One of the current
objectives for Idahogaitedmules.com is to reduce
our herd size a bit.
Animals For Sale
All of our 2003 and later foals have been sired by Idaho Crackerjack, a son of
Firecracker. He is the 14.2 hand fellow featured below. His foals have
shown excellent dispositions, with outstanding withers and heads. Layover manes
and long tails are common, perhaps influenced by having Paso mothers. These foals generally demonstrate gait during their first week or two on the ground. We imprint each foal at birth and then handle them
extensively for their first few weeks, using Parelli-type training methods.

At this time we do not have any trained saddle mules for sale, though several
are ready to start now. We encourage prospective owners to purchase younger
mules so that a bonding process can occur before saddle training starts.
